Bootlicking Boehner And The Karl Rove Circus’ Amnesty “Surrender”

RINO Party

The future of the GOP.

John Boehner and the GOP establishment is hell-bent on surrendering on amnesty.  Perhaps surrender is not quite the word for it, since amnesty is apparently what they really want despite lip service to the conservatives in the party.

Boehner already has a history of surrendering on the debt ceiling.  Boehner’s mantra for two years was “we can’t risk a government shutdown because (insert liberal media talking point here)” and he rode that lame horse to giving Democrats everything they wanted, from increased debt to sequestration to Obamacare funding.  Boehner claimed it would damage the party in the 2014 mid-terms to risk a shut down, which would cause (insert liberal media talking point here).  The crushing defeat of Democrats almost at every level nationwide proved that reasoning to be either hopelessly foolish or a big, whopping, fat lie.

And yet, less than one month after that amazing Republican “win,” Boehner is at it again.

First his chairman of the House Appropriations Committee, Hal Rogers of Kentucky (appropriately, “KY”) lied blatantly to the American public and his own party, claiming

…the Appropriations process cannot be used to ‘de-fund’ the agency. The agency has the ability to continue to collect and use fees to continue current operations, and to expand operations as under a new Executive Order, without needing legislative approval by the Appropriations Committee or the Congress, even under a continuing resolution or a government shutdown.

It took the Congressional Research Service about five seconds to debunk that.

…funds available to the agency through fee collections would be subject to the same potential restrictions imposed by Congress on the use of its appropriations as any other type of appropriated funds.

As chairman of the Appropriations Committee, Rogers knew that very well, but lied anyway.  Boehner, as Speaker, could have contradicted him…but didn’t.  And Rogers still holds his position.  It also just so happens that General Dynamics, in line for amnesty-related federal contracts, is in Kentucky and contributes heavily to both Rogers and Mitch McConnell.

Boehner wanted that lie spread, especially by the media, to undermine his own base.  He started that almost the instant the election results were in, by claiming the election result was

not a time for celebration.

Instead he claimed it was time to work on the economy, jobs, etc…while working to make sure millions of unskilled, illiterate workers would be added to the labor pool in direct competition to American workers.  Does anyone really believe he doesn’t know this?

Boehner and Mitch McConnell also ran to every microphone they could find, parroting the “we won’t shut down (13%) of the government” mantra, despite the fact that Republicans just won a historic victory less than one year after the last (13%) government shut down…which both swore would hurt the party in the next election.  Instead, they propose to pass a bill they know will never get past the Senate or Obama’s veto pen, while agreeing to surrender the budget to Democrats just before the Senate changes hands.

In other words, Boehner and the GOP establishment intend to talk conservatives to death about “standing up to Obama’s lawlessness” while doing absolutely nothing or worse about it…if not actively assisting it.

Remember, last year Boehner said this about amnesty after meeting with Obama and claiming they had great agreement on immigration:

He wants to get it done. I want to get it done.

Was John Boehner lying to us then, or is he lying to us now?  Obama got it done, and Boehner flatly refuses to take any action to stop him.  And he has the unmitigated gall to post this on Twitter.

The Republican party is just as much a bunch of lying, manipulative, thieving traitors as the Democrats are.  They just hide it a little better.  Or try to.

Right Jeb Bush?

I kinda know how a Republican can win, whether it’s me or somebody else – and it has to be much more uplifting, much more positive, much more willing to be… ‘lose the primary to win the general’

In other words, forget conservatives and pander to the left, especially the Hispanic left.

Boehner to Jeb Bush:  message received.
